Vassar--James "Jim" Heisler, 71, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at his home on Lake Pomona.  He was born on October 2, 1947 in Eureka, Kansas, the son of Leland and Winifred Wryauch Heisler.

Jim grew up around the Eureka community and had lived and had lived at Lake Pomona for many years.

Jim worked in steel production for many years.

Jim was married to Janice Siemsen in 1974, she preceded him in death on November 23, 2012. Jim then married Sherry DePriest. She survives of the home.

Jim was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
