James R. "Jim" Graham, 76, of Vassar, Kansas, passed away on January 24, 2026.

Jim was born on December 14, 1949, on the rural family farm often referred to as "Possum Holler", near Scranton, Kansas.

He lived a life defined by hard work, kindness, and generosity. He retired from Fuels Maintenance at Forbes Field as well as retiring from dual service in the Army Reserves and Air National Guard.  He dedicated many years of dependable service. Known for his willingness to help anyone in need, Jim never hesitated to lend a hand, offer support, or simply show up when it mattered most.

For 54 years, Jim shared a loving marriage with his wife, Pamela "Pam" R. Graham, who survives him at their home in Vassar. Their life together was built on commitment, partnership, and devotion to family.

Jim found his greatest peace outdoors or in his shop, staying busy with projects and enjoying the simple, meaningful moments of everyday life. His steady presence, strong character, and caring heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pam; his son, Justin Graham (Jennifer) of Lyndon; his daughter, Kami Simmons (Jason) of Lyndon; his brother, John Graham of Osage City; his sisters, Judy Mills of Girard and Jeanne Samsel (Sam) of Waverly; his grandchildren; Noah, Avary, Morgan, Taylor, and Owen; his great-grandchildren, Janie, Jovie, and Isla; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Davenna; his brother; Eddie and his sisters; Janet and Joyce.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.

Jim will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, humility, and the love he shared with family and friends.
