Carbondale--Harold Lake, 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his home in Carbondale, Kansas. He was born on September 27, 1947 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Leroy and Edna Newton Lake.
Harold had lived in Topeka and then in Joplin, Missouri for several years. He had lived in Carbondale for the past 47 years.
Harold served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. He was a truck driver and had worked for Lawrence Freight Line.
On December 23, 1966 Harold was married to Pamela Overstreet in Oskaloosa.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Edna.
Harold is survived by his wife Pamela of the home; his son, Patrick Lake of New York; his daughter, Jeanna Lake of Vermont; his three brothers, Ronald Lake, Dean Lake and Michael Lake; his four sisters, Marilyn Turnage, Doris Baker, Sharon Coffman and Rita Hendricks; five grandchildren, two God children and two adopted grandchildren.
