Topeka--Glenna Clarene Dehn, 85, ascended into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born on August 5, 1931 in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Avis Kready Fagan.
Glenna had lived around the Lyndon community until moving to Topeka in 1973.
Glenna had worked in accounting and had also taught accounting for a time. She graduated from Quenemo High School in 1948 and attended business school. She was a charter member of the Mt. Pleasant Community Church near Lyndon and attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Topeka.
On September 4, 1949 Glenna was married to Donald Dehn in Aline, Oklahoma.
Glenna was preceded in death by her husband Donald on August 1, 1988; by her parents, Harold and Avis; and by her sister, Joleen Hansen.
Glenna is survived by her two sons, Dan Dehn (Kathy) of Lyndon and Dennis Dehn of Topeka; her two daughters, Jacque Hurt (Wayne) and Jere Niehoff (Glen) all of Topeka; her brother, Veryl Fagan of Rocky Ford, Colorado; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service for Glenna will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 14 at the First Church of the Nazarene (10th & Buchanan St.) in Topeka. The family will receive friends following services at the church. Inurnment will be in the Lyndon Cemetery at a later date.
