Obituary

Carbondale--Geneva L. Booth, 87, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Brookside Assisted Living in Overbrook, Kansas. She was born on March 21, 1928 in French Town, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Cora Carr Benton.
Geneva had lived in Carbondale from 1962 to 2004 when she moved to Topeka. She had lived in Topeka until moving to Brookside last year.
Geneva had worked as a Drapery Designer most of her life. She attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Topeka, and she loved camping and fishing with Larncie at all the local lakes.
On February 22, 1954 Geneva was married to Larncie "L.T." Booth in Salem, Arkansas.
Geneva was preceded in death by L.T. on March 26, 2008; by a son, Jerry Booth on March 31, 2013; by her parents, William and Cora; by a brother, John Benton; and by three sisters, May Coil, Freda Smith and Bobbie Mooney.
Geneva is survived by her two sons, Allen Rich of Auburn and Bobby Booth of Burlingame; her daughter, Debbie Booth of Melvern; her brother, N.J. Benton of Salem, Arkansas; her two sisters, Anice Waltrip of Overbrook and Zada Kennedy of Crossville, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Geneva will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 8 at the Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30pm on Wednesday at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookside Retirement or Grace Hospice, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka
