Marengo, IL.--Flossie H. Duffey, 105, formerly of Osage City, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at her daughters home near Marengo, Illinois. She was born on September 21, 1912 in Council Grove, Kansas, the daughter of Grover and Clara (Wiggins) Burnett.
Flossie loved bowling, which she happily did until she was 95. She also enjoyed sewing and traveling. Her family was most important to her and she loved any time spent with them.
Flossie is survived by her two daughters, Clara (Bill) Piper and Judy Miller; her seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Flossie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Duffey; her son, Albert Lee Duffey; her parents; her sister and two brothers.
Funeral services for Flossie will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 1 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Melvern Cemetery.
