Oskaloosa-Lorene Green ,78, passed away Tuesday May 12,2015 at the Hickory Pointe Care and Rehab Center.
Lorene was born February 18,1937 in Osage City, Ks. the daughter of Clarence Joesph and Fredia Josphine Allison Hokanson. She was married to Kenneth Hopkins they later divorced. She married Richard Green June 12,1982 in Quenemo,Ks. Lorene was a custodian at K.U. from 71 to 1984.She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary #2700 of Ottawa,Ks.
Lorene is preceded in death by her husband Richard August 12,2007; an infant daughter Fredia Mae Chenoweth. She is survived by one son Kenneth (Sharon) Hopkins of Allen, Texas; three daughters Connie (Mike) Teter of Garnett, Ks., Janice ( Mack) Henricks of Oskaloosa, Ks., Genia (Richard) Henricks of Quenemo, Ks.; one brother George (Ivy) Hokanson of Hayes, Ks.;11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services for Lorene will be Saturday May 16,2015 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery north of Quenemo. Condolences can be left at FeltnerFuneralHome.com.
