Olivet--Erma L. Weimer, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on January 5, 1926 in Council Grove, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Nellie Pickering Jones.

Erma grew up in Osage City, graduating from Osage City High School in 1943. She had lived in the Olivet community for over 50 years.

Erma had been a Homemaker all of her life and was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church.

On May 2, 1946, Erma was united in marriage to Jacob "Jake" Weimer in Lyndon. To this union three children were born.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband Jake on August 3, 1996 and by four of her siblings, Glen, Albert, Louie and Edith.

Erma is survived by her three children, George (Norma) Weimer of Olivet, Patricia (Terry) Lightle of Topeka and Sandy (Doran) Sedgwick of Lyndon; her longtime companion, Lee Munt of Topeka; her brother, Otto Jones of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren, Troy, Shane, Corey, Travis, Shauna and Angela; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Erma will be at 7:00pm on Monday, September 21 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Alpine Cemetery at a later date.
