Emma Pauline Dorr's Obituary
Osage City - Emma Pauline (Masters) Dorr, 99, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at her home in Osage City, Kansas. She was born on January 9, 1922 in Burlingame, Kansas, the daughter of William and Jennie (Burns) Masters.
She had lived in Osage City since 1980. She had been a homemaker and had worked at Hallmark Cards in Osage City.
On December 23, 1941, Emma was united in marriage to Earl Dorr, Jr. in Council Grove, Kansas. To this union three children were born, Lyle, George and Gail.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Earl on July 13, 2006; by her son, George Dorr on January 29, 1965; by her four brothers, William, Jr., Gilbert, Albert and Robert Masters; and by her three sisters, Edna Renyer, Pearl Johnson and Irene Ryan.
Emma is survived by her two children, Lyle Dorr and wife Marlene of Burlingame and Gail Stromgren of Osage City; her four grandchildren, John Dorr, Maurene Brake, Stacey Snakenberg and Spencer Stromgren; and her six great-grandchildren.
Emma will be cremated and private family inurnment will take place in Osage City Cemetery.
