Ellen Rose Kendall, 94, Agricola, Kansas died Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, KS.
Mrs. Kendall raised six children while holding down numerous jobs. She also co-owned several businesses in the Williamsburg Community.

She was born April 25, 1922, in Greensburg, Kansas, the daughter of William August Rose and Elsie Ellen Eakin Rose. She lived in Agricola and Williamsburg for nearly 70 years. She married Carl Jean Kendall on Feb. 24, 1944, in Dodge City.

Survivors include three sons: Jerry W. Kendall, Topeka; Barry L. Kendall, Ottawa; and Larry D. Kendall, Tulsa, Okla; and three daughters: Connie Kendall Tate (Harris), Lawrence; Karon S. Davis (Harold), Basehor; and Pamela Ellen Davis of Topeka; four sisters, Lucille Yohn, Pratt; Wanita England, Kismet; Thelma Bush, Wichita; and Dorine Aultman, Wetumka, Okla; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Agricola. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon, Kansas.
