Lawrence - Elizabeth Ann Pankratz, 80, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her home in Lawrence, Kansas. She was born on July 15, 1941, in Texas and was the adopted daughter of Frank and Nellie Clark.

Elizabeth grew up in Bartlesville and Boise City, Oklahoma, she had lived several years in Topeka and then on a horse ranch south of Overbrook.

She graduated from the University of Kansas and worked for the State of Kansas as a Topographer. She had also worked as a dispatcher for the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office and was a Deputy Undersheriff. She was also a dispatcher for the EMT service in Overbrook. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Overbrook and the American Quarter Horse  Association.

On March 6, 1993, Elizabeth was united in marriage to John Pankratz in Miami, Oklahoma.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, John on March 25, 2019; by a son, Bradly Pankratz in 2007; by her brother, Hal Clark in 2020; and by her parents, Frank and Nellie.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Colette (Mark) Jones of Manhattan; her son, Mitchel Pankratz of Ottawa; her four grandchildren, Faith Hartley of Gardner, Samuel Jones of Lincoln, Nebraska, Scott Pankratz of Gardner and Adam Pankratz of San Diego, California; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Elizabeth will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 20 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 11:30am until service time. Burial will be in the ValleyBrook Cemetery, south of Overbrook.
