Obituary

Lyndon--Elizabeth M. Dickerhoof, 95, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Vintage Park Assisted Living in Osage City. She was born on October 11, 1919 near Vassar, the daughter of Tosy and Caroline Ruckert Seyler.
Elizabeth had lived most of her life in or near the Vassar community and then in Lyndon and Osage City.
Elizabeth operated the Lyndon Cafe, was a school cook for the Vassar Schools and then cooked at Lamont Hill Restaurant until her retirement. She had been a member of the Vassar United Methodist Church.
Elizabeth was married to Harry "Tick" Dickerhoof on December 25, 1948 in Lyndon.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Tick on April 14, 1996; an infant daughter, Rita Kay Dickerhoof; her parents; her brother, Edwin Seyler and her sister, Betty Woodmas.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Don (Kellie) Dickerhoof of Lyndon; three grandchildren, Beth Weimer, Abby Gebhardt and Jesse Dickerhoof; four great-grandchildren, Josey Weimer, Jake Weimer, Paige Gebhardt and Kahle
Gebhardt.
Funeral services for Elizabeth will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 17 at the Lyndon United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30pm on Tuesday at the Feltner Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS. 66451.
