Pomona - Dustyn James Green, 31, passed away February 27, 2023, in Scranton, Kansas. He was born on February 23, 1992, in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Jim and Tammy (Ferrell) Green.

Dustyn had graduated from Ottawa High School in 2010, had studied Psychology at Ottawa University and was working on a Bachelor of Business Administration at the American Intercontinental University. He had worked jobs in landscape and construction, but he loved the work in architecture and computers. He was currently working at JM Smucker's in Topeka and had started his own online business, Remote Life - Outdoors. He had been a member of the Mt. Pleasant Community Church of Lyndon and the First Southern Baptist Church of Ottawa.

Dustyn was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Gracie Green; maternal grandfather, Jack Ferrell; aunt, Terry Lynn Green; and uncle, Marty Ferrell.

Dustyn is survived by his son, Zakai James Green; his parents, Jim and Tammy Green of Pomona; his five siblings, Jennifer (Ryan) Eiche of Wellsville, Brittney (Paul Farrar) Green of Wellsville, Austin Green of Pomona, Hannah (Riley) Browning of Ottawa and Alex Green of Pomona; his nieces and nephews, LeeDena (Ian) Scrimsher; Damen, Dayja, Deacon Eiche; Aaliyah Alana Green; Marley, Emmett Green; and Rayden Rhett Browning; his maternal grandmother, Sharon Ferrell; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

Funeral services for Dustyn will be at 1:00pm on Friday, March 10 at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church southeast of Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Thursday at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Cremation will follow services and inurnment will be in the Vassar Cemetery at a later date.
