Dolly Sue Morgan's Obituary
Scranton - Dolly Sue Morgan, 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the Life Care Center in Burlington, Kansas. She was born on May 19, 1949, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arnold and Emma (Adams) Morgan.
Dolly had lived in Burlingame, Osage City and Scranton. She had worked as a dietician in a nursing home for several years.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Emma; her four sisters, Hattie Patterson, Ruby Franklin, Jane Counts and Ula Patton; her six brothers, Chester, Arnold, Jr., John, Duke, Gene and Henry Morgan.
Dolly is survived by her son, Virgil Barr of Topeka; her two daughters, Candy Barr and Sherry (Scott) Lester, all of Scranton; her two brothers, Jim (Pat) Morgan of Buffalo, Oklahoma and Donald (Dee) Morgan of Burlingame; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Dolly will be at 11:00am on Saturday, February 19 at the Cross Road Community Church in Scranton. Inurnment will be in the Carbondale Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Dolly may be made to the Cross Road Community Church, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
