Alvarado, Texas - Dennis Harold Weiss, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Alvarado, Texas. He was born on November 14, 1951, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Harold "Sonny" Weiss and Peggy Lou Figgins.

Dennis grew up in Osage County, Kansas and graduated from Quenemo High School in 1969. He has lived in Texas for the last 35 years.

Dennis was a builder while in Kansas and then owned his concrete construction company in Texas. He had served in the U.S. Army Reserve and attended the Ft. Worth First Church of the Nazarene.

On September 21, 1974, Dennis was united in marriage to Debby Wheeler in Quenemo, Kansas. To this union two children were born, Cody and Christina.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Peggy.

Dennis is survived by his two children, Cody Weiss and wife Vickie of Grandview, Texas and Christina Weiss of Alvarado, Texas; by his brother, Michael Weiss and wife Cheryl of Ft. Worth, Texas; his two grandchildren, Blake and Bristol Weiss; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Dennis will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday, December 3 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time. Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery.
