Delores Marie "Dee" Anstaett died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Vintage Park Assisted Living in Osage City, Kan. She was 91. She was born Jan. 8, 1930 in Osage City, one of eight children of Humbert S. and Grace (Bailey) Rosetta. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1947.

On Oct. 1, 1948, she married Earl J. "E.J." Anstaett Jr. in Osage City. They enjoyed 47 years together, raising three children. E.J. died in 1996.

Dee was a stay-at-home mom until the mid-1960s, when she went to work in the Lyndon USD 421 business office. In 1967, she began work at Osage Products, the Hallmark, Inc. plant in Osage City. She retired after 25 years of service with Hallmark in 1992.

She lived in the same home on West 9 ^th Street in Lyndon from her marriage in 1948 until 2017, when health issues necessitated a move to assisted living.

Dee was a loyal member of the Lyndon United Methodist Church, volunteered after her retirement at the Lyndon Public Library and also served as an election worker.

She enjoyed going to the casino, card games, Scrabble and completing crossword puzzles. She also was an avid bowler for a number of years and took up golf in her retirement.

Dee was the ultimate sports mother, following her two sons as they participated in Lyndon football, basketball, track and baseball and her daughter as a cheerleader, never missing an event. She adored her two granddaughters and her seven great-grandchildren. She and E.J. took their two granddaughters on road trip adventures in Kansas, Oklahoma and Colorado.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Anstaett (Buddy Owens), Topeka; two sons, Doug (Lucinda) Anstaett, Topeka, and David Anstaett of rural Lyndon; two granddaughters, Beth (Russ) Iversen and Ashley (Matt) All, Lawrence; seven great-grandchildren, Helena, Thomas, Penelope, Silvia and Georgia All and Olivia and Sebastian Iversen, all of Lawrence; two brothers, Richard (Susan) Rosetta of Salt Lake City and Larry (Erma) Rosetta of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband E.J., sisters Rosalie Wollesen and Coleen Edds and brothers Don Rosetta, Humbert Rosetta and another, Albert Wayne Rosetta, who died in infancy.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the loving staff at Vintage Park of Osage City for its care these past four years. Mom called it "home."

Services will be on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will greet friends at 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Interment at Lyndon Cemetery will take place at a later date.
