Melvern - Debbie Louise Booth, 61, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at her home south of Melvern, Kansas. She was born on October 20, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Larncie and Geneva (Benton) Booth.
Debbie grew up in Carbondale and had lived there until moving to Melvern.
Debbie had worked as a Veteran's Benefits Agent for the Veterans Administration for the last 12 years.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Larncie and Geneva; and by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Cindy Booth.
Debbie is survived by her four children and eleven grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) Galvan of Elkhorn, Nebraska, and Samantha, Savannah, Sophia, Sydney, Shaun and Brody; Tonya (Jacob) Summers of Ft. Scott, and Noah, Shayla, Tyson and Brendan; Michael (Megan) McGrew of Olivet, and Waylon; and William Booth of Lyndon; her great-grandson, Harrison; and her two brothers, Allen (Joyce) Rich of Auburn and Bobby (Wilma) Booth of Harveyville.
Memorial services for Debbie will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 11 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
