Obituary

Carbondale--Cynthia Lou Herr Booth, 66, passed away at her home in Carbondale, Kansas on Thursday, November 30, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1951 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Martin and Rosabelle "Petie" Harris.
Cindy grew Scranton and Topeka and had lived in Carbondale for the last 49 years.
Cindy worked for Essex Wire in Topeka for 24 years and had then worked for Party America.
On July 3, 1978, Cindy was married to Jerry Booth in Miami, Oklahoma.
Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry on March 31, 2013; by her father, Martin Loyd Harris; and by one brother, Martin Leigh Harris.
Cindy is survived by her son, Dennis May of Scranton; her daughter, Traci Slottke and husband Thomas of Carbondale; her mother, Rosabelle Harris of Scranton; her two brothers, Marion Harris of Carbondale and Kenneth Harris of Burlingame; her two sisters, Darlene Bogren and Carroll Schooler, both of Scranton; and her three grandchildren, Mason, Miley and Myles Slottke.
Funeral services for Cindy will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 5 at the Carbondale Church of Christian Fellowship. Burial will be in the Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Monday at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cindy Booth Memorial Fund, for her grandchildren's education.
