Lyndon--Cory James Sprecker, 26, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 near Olivet, Kansas. He was born on February 7, 1989 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Devin and Kim Michael Sprecker.
Cory had lived all of his life in the Lyndon community. He graduated from Lyndon High School in 2007. Cory was an Aircraft Structural Mechanic with the Kansas Air National Guard and the United States Air Force, and held the rank of Staff Sergeant. He attended the Olivet United Methodist Church.
Cory is survived by his parents, Devin and Kim of Lyndon; his three sisters, Chelsea Sprecker of Lyndon, Kate Sprecker of Topeka and Caroline Sprecker of Lyndon; his maternal grandmother, Carol Michael of Osage City; and his paternal grandparents, Jayde and Billie Sprecker of Olathe.
Funeral services for Cory will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, October 1 at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church southeast of Lyndon. Burial will be in the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00pm on Wednesday at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon.
