Cory had lived most of his life around the Carbondale community.
Cory worked as a heavy equipment operator as a grader operator for Rush County, Osage County, and Williamsport township.
On February 13, 2018, Cory was united in marriage to Jennifer Marx at Carbondale Kansas.
Cory was a loving son, husband, father and brother. He loved life and always wanted everyone around him to have a great day and a good time.
Cory is survived by his wife, Jennifer Molloy of the home; his daughter, Chevelle Molloy of the home; his mother, Norma J McNair of McCracken; his step mother, Claudine Irwin of Plainville; his step son, Justin Wools of Topeka; his two grandsons Sterling and Hudson Wools; his four siblings, sister -Tracy (Rodney) Humbert of Topeka, and her children, Taylor (Amanda) Whitaker, Tyler Whitaker, Michael Humbert, and Addison Humbert, brother - Jeffery Molloy of Carbondale, and his children, Lexie and Colton Molloy, sister - Jamie (Dallas) DeWitt of McCracken, and her children, Mason Davison, Hunter and Maverick DeWitt, and sister - Ariel (Steven) Jacques of Topeka; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Molloy of Carbondale; many cousins, aunts, uncle, loved by all and with many memories throughout his life with them all.
Cory was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" Molloy, his paternal grandfather, Jefferson Molloy, and maternal grandparents Emmett and Marjorie Sloan.
Funeral services for Cory will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 9 at the Carbondale Church of Christian Fellowship. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in the Carbondale Cemetery.
