Obituary

Pomona--Cora Stoneking, 86, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Ottawa Retirement Village in Ottawa, Kansas. She was born on October 18, 1931 in Miami County, Kansas, the daughter of Clyde and Margaret Wilson Baer.
Cora had lived in Ottawa and at Pomona Lake, but she lived most of her life in Pomona.
Cora worked for the City of Pomona for many years as City Clerk.
On December 14, 1947, Cora was married to James Robinson in Ottawa. They later divorced. On December 29, 1975, Cora was married to David Stoneking in Miami, Oklahoma.
Cora was preceded in death by her husband David on May 5, 2011; by her parents, Clyde and Margaret; her three brothers, Marlin Baer, Marvin Baer and Bud Baer; her three sisters, Shirley Brown, Virginia Brasfield and Pat Leach; and a step son, Danny Stoneking.
Cora is survived by her three children, James Robinson, Katherine (Randy) Allan and Linda (Danny) Servaes, all of Pomona; two step daughters, Karen Hamilton and Lisa (Keith) Love, all of Pomona; a step daughter-in-law, Kim Stoneking of High Point, North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside services for Cora were held at Woodlawn Cemetery at Pomona on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Valley United Methodist Church, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
