Melvern - Charlotte LaRue Criqui, 87, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Vintage Park in Osage City, Kansas. She was born on January 19, 1934, near Melvern, Kansas, the daughter of Warren and Thelma Evertson.

Charlotte had lived most of her life near the Melvern community.

Charlotte had been a Homemaker, a member of the Melvern United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Oren James Criqui on October 21, 1951, in Huntsville, Arkansas. To this union three children were born, Terry, Charlene and Steve.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Oren on October 14, 1998; by her parents, Warren and Thelma; and by her brother, Eddie Evertson.

Charlotte is survived by her three children, Terry Criqui, Charlene Criqui and Steve Criqui, all of Melvern; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Charlotte will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, December 21 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until service time. Private interment will be held on Wednesday.
