Quenemo - Charles Glen "Chuck" Meiers, 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Rock Creek of Ottawa in Ottawa, Kansas. He was born on June 2, 1967, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Thomas and Charlotte (Case) Meiers.

Chuck had lived most of his life in the Quenemo community and he graduated from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School in 1986.

Chuck had worked for Food 4 Less and Falley's in Topeka for many years in the produce departments. He had also worked on the grounds work staff for the Auburn-Washburn School District USD 437.

Chuck was known far and wide as a slayer of fish and he loved hunting as well.  He also loved taking his nieces and nephews fishing and hunting where they often time caught bigger or more fish than he did.

Chuck was preceded in death by parents, Tom and Charlotte and his brother, Ricky.

Chuck is survived by his two brothers, Duane Meiers(Lori)of Quenemo and Wayland Meiers(Brooke)of Vassar; by his two sisters, Terry Montgomery(Steve) of Topeka and Christy Meiers of Ottawa; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Chuck will be held at a later date.
