Candace Elaine Runkle, 74, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2024. Candace was known for her deep love of family….a passion that defined her life.

She lived in Emporia, Kansas for the last 45 years and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt and Grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Jerry Michael Runkle and her parents Keith and Reata Kinart.

She is survived by her son Eric Runkle (Cindy), daughter Tara Drennan (Marck), her grandchildren Leilani Drennan, Wesley Drennan, Samantha Drennan, Matt Gormly, Andrew Gormly, Annie Runkle, Porter Runkle and Great Grandchildren Ellis and Andrew, Jr. She is also survived by her sister LynDa Cardinale (Tony), brothers Keith Kinart (Mary), Kirk Kinart (Mary Ann) and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was deeply loved and is greatly missed. To Commemorate her incredible life journey and celebrate the love she spread, a graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Lyndon, KS, Saturday October 5, 2024, at 11:00am.
