Brenda had lived in Topeka for many years before moving near Carbondale in 1982.

Brenda worked as a Case Worker for job service with the State of Kansas until her retirement.

On June 5, 1978, Brenda was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Richardson in Topeka, Kansas.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mary.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Dick of 43 years; her five children, John Graham of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Ronna Richardson of Pyatt, Arkansas, Kevin Richardson of Burlingame, Mark Jackson of Marion, Ohio and George R i chardson of Joplin, Missouri; her four siblings , Mary Creech of Topeka, Phyllis Conley of Kent, Washington, Fred Biesemeyer of Topeka and Cindy Old Crow of Lodge Grass, Montana; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Brenda 's family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 2 , at the Feltner Funeral Chapel In Lyndon. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, September 3, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Carbondale Cemetery.
