LYNDON – Brenda Lou (Swanson) Groff, 80, of Lyndon, Kansas departed this life of Monday, July, 12, 2021 at the Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born January 19, 1941 in Lyndon, Kansas the daughter of Harry Ray and Thelma Gertrude (Allison) Swanson. She graduated from Lyndon High School in 1959.

On June 24, 1959, Brenda was united in marriage to Ronald R. Groff in Ottawa, Kansas. They shared over sixty-two years of marriage. To this union they shared a daughter, Rhonda.

Brenda worked for many years as a receptionist for Dr. Hill's Chiropractor practice in Lyndon, Kansas. Brenda also was a Osage County Commissioner.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda is survived by her husband Ronald of the home; her daughter, Rhonda Beets (Barry) of Lyndon, Kansas; her granddaughter, Allison Young of Grimes, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon, Kansas. Burial will follow to the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
