Betty Lou Miller, 87, passed away on Monday , September 15, 2014 at Peterson Nursing Home in Osage City. She was born on February 7, 1927 on the family farm northwest of Lyndon, the daughter of Chester and Frances King Nichols.
Betty had lived all of her life in the Lyndon community. She graduated from Lyndon High School In 1945. Betty had worked for the State of Kansas in the Department of Revenue. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the had attended the United Methodist Church, both in Lyndon.
On September 3,1950, Betty was married to Arlie Miller in Lyndon. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Arlie on July 7,2011.
Betty is survived by he two sons, David miller of Lyndon and Donald Miller of Valley Falls; two grandsons Jared Miller of Ople and Jason Miller of Marion; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Betty will be held at 1:30 Monday, September 22 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time.
