Betty Lou Knapp's Obituary
Betty Lou (Phillippe) Knapp, 93, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, in Warrensburg, Missouri. She was born March 15, 1929, to Gerald and Edith (Weaver) Phillippe in Mayes County, Oklahoma.
She lived in Kansas most of her life, attending public schools in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from East High School in 1947.
She married Eddie R. Knapp, August 21, 1948. They were married 58 years until his passing July 9, 2006.
Betty retired from General Motors Corp. July 1, 1987.
Betty is survived by daughters Ronna Gjesfjeld, husband John, Debra Larsen, husband Rod, brother-in-law Albert Andrew, sister-in-law Betty Phillippe, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Knapp, her parents, and her daughter, Cathy Peck. She was the last surviving sibling of 7, Bonnie, Ron, Jim, Geraldine, Eva, and Coralie.
Private family graveside service will be held at Vassar Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Feltner Funeral Home, Box 160, Lyndon KS. 66451
