Obituary

Lyndon - Ann Bowen Goldsmith, 93, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at her home near Lyndon, Kansas. She was born on August 18, 1928 in Jena, Texas, the daughter of James Newton and Ada Elizabeth (Craft) Bowen.
Ann grew up in Texas and had lived on farms around Lyndon since 1949.
Ann was a Homemaker, a bowling instructor, and artist of paints and had owned her own art store in Lyndon. She was always a very active part of the farm work as well. She had been a member of the Osage County Historical Society as well as other community social groups through the years.
On March 19, 1949, Ann was united in marriage to Raymond Goldsmith in Bel Falls, Texas.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ada; her two brothers, Harold and Sonny; and her two sisters, Marie and Helen.
Ann is survived by her husband Raymond of nearly 73 years; her sister, Beatrice Cholett of Temple, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Ann will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 28 at the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30pm on Monday at the Lyndon United Methodist Church. The family asks that masks be worn. Memorials for Ann may be made to the Lyndon High School Honor Flight, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
